The Holistic Approach to Health
Being a nutritionist for 20 years now, I have been studying many diets and also had tried practising many different diets myself. After being an ovo-lacto-vegetarian most of my life, I found my best self being a vegan now. I am not here trying to convert everyone to be a vegan. I believe every single person in the world is born unique even if you are an identical twins. Therefore, nobody is made the same even if two people are suffering from the same health condition. This means everyone will find their own balanced healthy diet, only if you find the connection with your body and learn to listen and understand your own body.  Health is a relationship between you and your body. In the modern world, this relationship is somewhat distanced in majority of the people. In order to strengthen the relationship between you and your body, I believe it is essential to address the following 3 key areas:

  1. Enhance the power of self-healing within the body
  2. Practice self acceptance
  3. Practice conscious living

This holistic approach will take care of the well-being that considers the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of life as closely interconnected and balanced. Therefore closely aligned with the definition of health as defined by  World Health Organization (WHO), it is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.


Human body possesses a natural ability to heal itself through cell regeneration in the process of renewing and restoring damaged cells. The power of self-healing is vital in maintaining healthy body functions, preventing degeneration and even delaying aging.
